Feudi Barone Spitaleri: Secondo di Castello Solicchiata 2012 Nicht Vivino Now it gets bitter: Alcohol-free80% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The generous Secondo is a very pleasant surprise. Deeply dark in color, the wine excellently showcases the three Bordeaux grape varieties. The fruit is framed by noble oak notes, vanilla, and coffee. On the palate, cherries and raspberries dominate, along with a hint of balsamic and peppery and licorice aromas in the finish. Enjoy this wine with a meal with friends, with pasta, or with lamb.
