To correct for this, we performed RNA-seq analysis of hypothalami obtained from animals treated with daily injections of either GLP-1MK-801 or a dose of semaglutide that was equipotent in terms of weight-lowering efficacy over 5 days of treatment, that is, mice had achieved a comparable weight loss and reduction in food intake as that of GLP-1MK-801-treated mice (Extended Data Fig
