Alocasia 'Venom' fiber or Epipremnum aureumAlocasia 'Venom' Alocasia 'Venom' is a mutant of Alocasia 'Amazonica' discovered by Mason Lee at Mason Plants in South Korea around 2019 and commercialized from 2022. The name 'Venom' was chosen because the leaf shape reminded Lee of the Marvel character Venom. The plant is a mutation of the classic cross between Alocasia sanderiana and Alocasia longiloba 'Watsoniana', the same origin as the famous 'Amazonica' and its many "cousins" such as 'Polly',
