It ws actually something much simpler - the LED and the bleeps that were supposed to indicate that the helmet was charged and functioning, actually showed misinformation
If I factor in the fact that Im getting exercise, that Im not paying for and burning fossil fuel (well, maybe tiny amounts if we want to be clear-eyed about where electricity comes from), that I dont have to find or pay for parking, that Im putting less wear on the roads, that bike tires and maintenance costs way less than car tires and maintenance, and that, yes, its just more fun its not even close which I would rather do
