I recently took this reel out for some shore testing and threw several big swimbaits 2 1/2 oz and some jerkbaits.i was pleased to see it handled the swimbaits with ease and going from heavy lures to light was very easy to swap between but if you plan on buying this with these options in mind adjusting the spool brake is a pain its meant to run one place and dial the clutch.i got it for topwater n jerks.it cast very well and the bell clutch it has is actually amazing how it works vs my old standard clutch.i feel this reel is worth the price From: Andy: Minnesota 4/17/22 Comments: Bought this for frogging/buzzbaits
