Newer model......All Black with silver bindings......silver reel seat clamps......has some nice give in it........the blank is not as thick as the previous model...uses the same guides or very similar but it has a sweet action to it and will have a more forgiving action on the angler......Personally i wouldnt run 24kg on it.....i would rate this rod 15 to 20kg.......I have had my rod builder friend reinforce the join area with binding to give that area additional strength......he has seen problems there......cost me 20 bucks........a 2 piece 15-24 kg rod is going to take some serious pressure at the join.........I much prefer this newer model and hopefully these guides dont rust out over the next year........Recommend.......Hope this helps people looking for a 15-24kg LBG rod
