For sale here is an Abel SD 4/5 fly reel with DeYoung "Brown Trout Flank" graphic. Mint, unused condition. 3.25" diameter with a spool width of 0.70" and an arbor diameter of 1.65". After 27 years Abel released the SD (Sealed Drag) series of reels with design input from Joe Saracione. It features a fully sealed Rulon disc drag with easy adjustment knob, wide drag range and very low startup inertia. Derek DeYoung's artwork has graced Abel's reels for many years and the brown trout flank looks beautiful on this one. The reel is RHW and must be returned to Abel for LHW conversion. Sold in the original box with Abel pouch
