The blank has a nice solid feel to it but i was shocked at the guides.......The thing with marine deals returns policy is you have to pay for the return..........I have whinged and moaned about that because i dont see why i should have to pay for the return when they sent me a below par product......not my fault.......i also wonder if the epoxy might have gone off from being in their warehouse a long time.......but the fact is ....that past quality control(could have) from shimano in China......it could have been good leaving the factory i guess and gone crap in storage......but thats no excuse....because i will be storing it too........but it does mean that marine deals do not check their products before dispatching them............I have no doubt marine deals and shimano will do the right thing......I have bought many things off marine deals and always found them good to deal with and i am a big fan of shimano........But my advise for anyone livng in Auckland is........go down to their warehouse in St Lukes and inspect the goods and buy them there......then you wont have to dick about like i am
