The first was setting the hook with 10# florocarbon line using a kietechswimbait on a small spotted bass.The rod snapped between the 6th and 7th guide (including the top) tomake a loud snap and splintering the rod in many places.I felt like it was a defect but gave the benefit of the doubt and just paid the replacement OTC warranty
