Advantages of fluorocarbon line are that it's nearly invisible under water because it has about the same refractive qualities as water and though it stretches some, it's more sensitive than monofilament
I did something similar to this when fishing birds in this fishing trip from my other channel, where I caught an easy limit of speckled trout, some of which were caught two at a time
