In most cases, a medium-action, seven-foot rod rated for to one ounce is capable of casting jigs, swimming lures and topwater for bass and inshore saltwater species
Hooks with more than one point (eg, treble hooks) or lures/bait with more than one hook should have uninvolved points taped or cut off to prevent accidental embedding of uninvolved hooks while removing the embedded hook
Its a fine line which is why I will switch back and forth from a wide gap hook to a narrow gap hook and I will discuss when I do this below
In November of 2023, my trailers original axle and spindle seized, and its Ranger Cool Hubs system blew out
Anyway, I didn't find much info on them here so I thought as long as I was breaking them down, cleaning, servicing and putting them back together I would document the process on one of them for future reference in case someone has a question or two
