Twil large runner ESTIMATED AGE: NewTHIS RUG'S STORY: Twil is a vintage Boujad from the Middle Atlas region in Morocco. Meaning "tall" in Moroccan Arabic, this is the biggest and baddest runner I've ever come across! Its size is utterly ridiculous (5x17!), so of course I had to have it. But with those pretty purples, pinks, and black tones, how could one resist?? The symmetric pattern is a nice touch to this rug! It would be stunning in a long rectangular room or hallway.
