As most Beni M'Guild's tend to be very bold in color

Majiz 6x11 One of my rug buddiesTHIS RUG'S STORY: Meaning "mixture" or "blend" in Arabic, this rug is an unlikely combination of 2 tribes Beni Ourain and Boujad. The actual knot construction is like a Boujad, but the lighter base and neutral tones give the nod to the Beni Ourain style. The theory behind this one is that the woman who created it was from Boujad, but later moved to the Middle Atlas region and kept her weaving style. We'll never know for sure but what a neat piece!
