Luna (Mên-an-Tol) All Items online interfacesThis painting (Luna) came out of the physical act of creating a sculpture (second image), by cutting a hole through it. I was interested in myths surrounding the Cornish stone monument known as the 'Mn an Tol', which was said to have healing abilities and powers of increased fertility, when people passed through the middle of the stone. Luna references an embodied portal the moon is associated with femininity, cycles, a symbol of light and clarity. It
