Oum 3x5 Traditionally these rugs were notTHIS RUG'S STORY: I named this rug after the Arabic word meaning "mother". There is some Arabic script found woven into the rug, indicating this mother made the rug for her family. Also, the year it was made can be found as well (1988). I've held on to this one for quite some time now, not wanting to sell it because of its fascinating story! It's pattern is woven off center, but the colors and design is truly spectacular.
