Hourai - Hida Terroir 40 Size:720 ml made from pristine water andThis indulgent junmai daiginjo is brewed with Hidaminori rice, a rare strain that disappeared in 2005 and was subsequently revived in 2017. Watanabe Brewing Company is the only brewery to use this rice, which they polish to 40% for this limited production bottle. A pear aroma leads to a sweet but refined taste reminiscent of ripe strawberries. Lingering acidity keeps this fruity sake light and elegant.
