Victory, Loss (Ed of 50) hypha-marble-arch hence four words)Victory, Loss' is a digital collage made as part of my first solo show 'Factory Reset' in 2022. This body of work is influenced by the media prevalent during lockdown games, memes, online interfaces, app design as well as the surreal influences of Magritte and Chagall, and traditions of Trompe l'oeil painting and hobbyist craft making. A dog's disembodied eyes follow us around the room, as we keep up a faux smile amidst the pain.
