Chateau Cantenac Brown BriO de Cantenac Brown Margaux 2019 CRV5 Oscar is the brother vineyardThe second wine of Margaux Third Growth Chteau Cantenac Brown, named for the cheerful brio of its more open, fruit forward style. The blend leans Merlot in this cuve (with the usual support of Cabernet Sauvignon and a dash of Cabernet Franc), and it's aged with a lighter touch on new oak generally around 20% to keep the fruit front and center. The 2019 is a beautiful vintage for Margaux, and this captures it nicely: violets, red cherry, a brush of
