Charles Oldham is probably the finest wood carver in the UK, with carvings in places such as Hampton Court & Windsor Palace. This Carving is from a restoration Charles undertook in the Redlands Chapel in Bristol. Charles restored the original carvings from the 1700s which were originally done by another Master carver of his time Thomas Paty who worked in a very similar
