Joan's Autobiography comparison Armor of GodBorn and raised in Canada, Joan Fleming earned a B. Sc. in Nutrition from U. Manitoba. She worked in her field in Montreal, England, Toronto, Urbana, and Chicago. In 1955 she married Edward Anders, a cosmochemist at the University of Chicago, raised two children, and traveled extensively in North America, Europe, and Asia. After retirement the couple lived in Switzerland for 8 years and finally settled in Northern California.
