This emblem would have been painted onto squadron aircraft's. The painting comes in original unrestored condition, please look closely at the pictures to get a better idea. We are unsure of age but are certain its modern & not WW2 era. VF 17, known as the "Jolly Rogers", was one of the U. S. Navy's most successful and famous fighter squadrons during World War
