Much of the history of Collier Township, Allegheny County, PA, was never recorded. The focus of this book is on the people of the township between 1880 and 1940 that made noteworthy contributions and helped "build" a vibrant community. The history is about farmers, doctors, teachers, nurses, shop owners, blacksmiths, hotel and tavern keepers, and the small manufacturers that employed residents of the township. The
