Its dignified, asymmetrical form rises boldly toward the rim. Through the hikiootoshi technique, the piece was cast into the flames, where a powerful blue emerged in wrinkled textures, adding a vivid accent. Deep blue tones also appear within the interior, while the pulled marks near the foot reveal a rugged, wild landscape
