House in a Garden originals and my response is for24"x24" Sometimes I paint for fun. Sometimes I paint to escape or to go on a vacation. This painting was me taking a vacation in my small city apartment. I went to a beautiful, calm, summer garden. I imagined myself sitting outside on the grass, with iced tea, an easel and a huge empty canvas to start working on (of course my family was there enjoying this little oasis with me!)
