Sool Byung Print citrus skins Measures 14x16”Inspired by our time at Jeju Onggi Maeul, one of the only remaining traditionally wood fired kilns in Korea still producing handcrafted onggi today. Made from indigenous volcanic soil, Jeju onggi are unglazed, leaving all color variation up to the dance of the flames in the kiln. These traditional vessels for alcohol, though made of the same grey brown soil, emerged from the kiln gleaming every color from silver blue to gold to deep wine and magenta.
