My plan was designing sky/sunset/sunrise with land/sea as well as hot colors with cold colors

This plate is sized to function as a dinner plate

Artistic Process:  Blue and clear glass were cut to size and fused together

I grinded smooth all the edges and then it was fire polished in the kiln

These glasses were cut and combined based on my vision and design, then multiple additional firings with highlights and detailing added. After cold working the edges smooth and straight and fired in the kiln for a fire polish. Displayed in a Stainless steel sculpture stand painted black.
