These fruits are large, averaging 400g to 600g.. This fruit does not set on its own and needs to be hand pollinated with another variety. The plant is fast growing with green three sided growth with small spines on the rib. It is very similar to Hylocereus undatus growth. The dragon fruit pitaya plant is a climbing cactus vine that grows well in dry areas.
