Schwiya 6x9 The word Maghreb means "west"THIS RUG'S STORY: Schwiya, Schwiya! This word means "few" or "just a little bit" in Moroccan Arabic. It's actually weirdly enough, one of my favorite words in the language. This is just a little bit of a rug haha. I'm not sure what tribe it is, it looks like it has the larger knot of the Beni Ourain, but the size is very uncharacteristic of this tribe. so I'm thinking it may have been made from a once larger rug.
