They are manufactured from non toxic polypropylene and offer strength and clarity. The vial has external threads, which provide a smooth and uniform inner surface which reduces the risk of contamination. The screw caps are also made of polypropylene, providing the same coefficient of expansion as the tubes. This along with a polypropylene inner lip
