The artistic process:  I start by combining turquoise blue and vanilla glass into a design in a thick round shape and fusing together

The butterfly is kilncasted and made from glass powders and fine glass

The artistic process:  I started by making pattern bars of blues

This bowl was made by cutting 1 layer of clear glass into a circle and placing it inside a stainless steel round mold as a dam to contain the glass

Using some transparency in the glass to create one effect when the light is behind the art and a different look when the light is in front of the art (such as if its in front of a window it will look different during the day and at night). Artistic Process: Cutting and making glass to depict the river and the shoreline and putting that all together using the heat of the kiln to fuse
