Wayfarer All Items Eschewing a simple focus onThe painting happened very naturally, almost as a distraction from other larger works that were developing at the same time. I wanted to treat the figure in the same way that I handled the "background" sort of merging them, not making too much distinction. The subject matter is to do with walking, something that has been central to my practice, but that is also very apparent in the paintings I made in the first half of 2025.
