The holes extend with curled spirals, as if worms crawl out or a pouring out of a liquid. For me, this vase explores the spillage of domesticity the wounded scars where familial settings leave marks. The work is feral in its approach, going against traditional vessel making, an intentional leaking out of a liquid, an encapsulated moment of letting go. Its vessel is destined to always be empty;
