The material promotes wound drainage to help with healing. The cotton gauze dressings have an eight ply layer that offers protection. The soft sponges are ideal for other applications such as wound prepping, packing, debriding and cleaning. The sterile 2 x 2 inch gauze sponges won't infect wounds.
