Green silk velvet, cut and voided to reveal the opulent gold ground, which is of high metallic content Florence or Genoa Circa 1730 1750 Finished and all four sides with antique metallic gold and green silk braid, which is a later addition Could this design have been an inspiration behind Mariano Fortuny's later Olimpia pattern , the layout is very similar Considering the panel is over
