During anagama firing, the ash glaze naturally settled onto the surface and devitrified, transforming into a soft white glaze that creates a cloud like landscape. The stable Ido style form is complemented by a relatively low foot. There, pools of white glaze and visible finger marks form part of the scenery, preserving the traces of the tension between clay and
