His paintings and mixed media works on paper explore figures, animals, and other hybrid creatures of his personal experiences and imagination. Richly pigmented and textured surfaces layer together narratives that integrate themes of Black identity, autobiographical memories, and elements of charged symbolism. Nathan Eugene Carson received a Bachelor of Fine Art from OCAD University. His
