and it was worth a couple trips to get the right conditions

and I was excited to visit when the conditions were just right

That was the atmosphere which guided me through planning and creating this image from the Middlesex Fells. After waiting for the snow on Spot Pond to melt and re freeze, I arrived one evening to find the conditions I was hoping for. As I walked the trails around the reservoir, I noticed a large
