The tapering body is worked in a rich black ground with a fine musen (wireless) scrolling texture, decorated with three butterflies in flight rendered in lilac, cream, cobalt, and turquoise, each with distinct wing patterning. Vertical dividing bands run down the body in red, green, and gilt. The shoulder is bordered by a scalloped lambrequin band in lavender and a scale pattern collar
