Horse Chestnut Bowl hypha-gallery-farringdon following Donna Haraway’s: “stay withCarved from a single trunk profile of storm damaged horse chestnut, using a combination of machine and hand tools. The surface grooves were hand sanded to produce a soft ridged texture. The piece was then burned, burnished and waxed to produce depth of colour and lustre helping to unify the colouration, soften the texture and ultimately gave the conker like lustre of its dark fruit. The work is inscribed with the coordinates of where the timber was
