On custom made English silver stand with hallmarks. The mark JG&S refers to John Grinsell & Sons, a Birmingham based firm specializing in silver mounted items, active from 1892 to 1904. T here is a small hairline to the front of the vase with some very minor associated bruising, as illustrated in the photographs. Late 19th Century SIZE 4. 75 inches ( 11 cm)
