Cadenhead's Creations 175th Anniversary bottling, 25 Year Old - Robust Smoky Embers wk_auction linseed oilBottled in 2017 with only 318 bottles produced, this 25 year old blend is a vatting of Ardbeg, Bowmore and Caol Ila, finished in a single sherry Hogshead. Nose: Big and meaty, smoked meats with fig compote and lots of farmyard notes. Flavour: More ashy notes come through on the palate breaking through red cherries, faint cinnamon and bloody oranges. Finish: Long and lingering interplay between, wet ash, creamy toffee notes and mincemeat pies.
