Artistic Process: Abstract Kilnfired art - various colored glass was ground fine and mixed with a medium and poured in a design on top of white glass

Artistic Process:   The Kilnformed glass background was designed with multiple blues then manipulated the glass at high temperatures to swirl the blues into patterns

I ground smooth all the edges and then it was fire polished in the kiln

How was it made? The first step was to create the swirls of each color into a glass design. that glass was then cut into the shape of a guitar using a ring saw.
