This 1940s example with its original wall bracket had arms manufactured from brass which did not continue in the production of these lamps for very long. Designed & developed by George Carwardine originally as the Equipoise , earlier versions of this light were sold under his own company name Cardine Accessories Ltd, Bath for 2 years from 1928
