Bushy Woodpeckers hypha-hq Their stretchedThis piece is from my Royal Park Life collection and is inspired by the woodpeckers seen in Bushy Park. I began with a pencil drawing on paper, which was then printed onto a cotton silk fabric. I hand embroidered the birds with fine, vibrant threads to bring them to life, while intentionally leaving the surrounding tree in monochrome. This contrast highlights the presence and character of the woodpeckers, reflecting their energy and vividness within
