the bee and ladybug are installed with rare earth magnets

Artistic Process:  This platter was made by hand cutting orange transparent glass and clear glass to size  I cut a strip out of the orange transparent glass and inserted a strip of glass that I created that is a pattern of colors with a bit water color effect

then the fused mosaic was cut into diamond shapes of various sizes for the windows in the design using a tile saw

The artistic process:  Swirls of Red transparent and white glass was cut to size then ground up clear
