A variety of colorful transparent glass in a design are kiln-fired together in my glass studio to create this tall garden stake

Dimensions: 10" wide x 11" tall x 4" deep

Artistic Process:    The first step was cutting multiple layers of different glasses with shards of glass on top in a specific pattern  inside a stainless steel round mold as a dam to contain the glass

The curved sculpture looks great on its own, in a window or as a candle screen with a candle behind it. Artistic Process: The background is glass made with transparent blue glass with a clear glass on top. A glass lace was made in a separate firing and then was tack fired to the background. The final firing was to form the glass into its curved shape with the bottom ground so it
