All my bases are named after parts of plants and trees. It is 100% alpaca from a British herd and spun in Britain. Double knit 100g skeins approx 228m. This is a beautiful soft and lustrous yarn. Alpaca is a hollow fibre and has less bounce than wool. It would make lovely shawls and accessories and can be used for garments as long as allowance is made for it's lack of spring. I would
