Chicken Hut Dictionary, Washington D.C. 1940s Sizes:A1 (594x840mm) Archival Print (Unframed) In the 1950s the journeyThis 1940s chicken dictionary is a marvellous example of the creativity and wit of vintage menu art. It was designed for The Chicken Hut restaurant in Washington DC. Using the motto an unusual eating place where Chicken is King, the restaurant offered seventeen chicken dishes which are beautifully illustrated and humorously described.
